Why am I getting 6 eggs from 18 hens?

Thanks guys. I do think they are settled in well and seem pretty content. I tend to think they are not laying anywhere else, they do free range but we've been rebuilding our barn since we got them and literally spending entire days outside with them. I've never seen them lay down anywhere except the barn and I've checked the barn and the areas they stick to and haven't found any eggs. That doesn't mean I'm not missing things (my lab "free ranges" too, haha, and he's an egg eater so I could miss it). Any suggestions for figuring out if that's what's going on?

I am a fairly new chicken owner so I can just base my opinion on my own. I have 8 RIR's that are about 26-27 weeks old and 3 are laying and 5 have not yet. Of the 3 that are laying, they have large red combs like yours in your pics. The ones of mine that are not laying yet have the smaller combs like some of yours in your pics so maybe some of yours just arnt old enough to lay yet.
