Why are all chicks to one side in the brooder

i have 38 chicks and all of them come to one side of the brooder. The temp is 30 degree Celsius and the chicks ages are different from 10 days to 25 days. What am I doing wrong?

Are they staying close to the heat source or away from it?

Without seeing pictures of your brooder set up it's hard to say what's wrong, but my guess is it's too hot on the other side. Even 30C is too hot for your nearly month old chicks.

Sounds like that one side is just the right temp. For them. Is a lamp on that side or not? Maybe the heat lamp too hot.

I felt they were cold so I increased the temp to 35 and now they are evenly spaced and happy
