today is the first time they have done this. There is a fake egg but it has been there for about 4 weeks now today, they are guarding it with their lives! they have covered it up and the drakes are taking turns sitting on top. If I try to go near - they lower their heads and charge me....they have never done this before. I finally got to dig through the hay - nothing there but the fake one!! Any ideas?

That is really strange. I had no idea drakes would sit on eggs.
