why are my ducks always hungry??

X2. Another medication that is safe is bacitracin. Last year my brooder raised ducklings were feed with bacitracin, and a few years ago I fed feed with amprolium and bacitracin.

Medicated feed is fine for all waterfowl.
Ive heard that because ducklings eat more than chicks, they can overdose on the medication, it isn't the medication itself that's harmful but the dosage-
That's what I've heard

Actually Chick starter lacks what Ducklings need so extra vitamins and minerals are needed to keep them balanced..
They do, but non medicated chick starter is adequet if supplemented with extra niacin which ducklings really need. It's certainly not as good as duckling starter, but would be a lot better than what they have currently!

What area do you live in? Nothing at all for young poultry in feed? Or an all flock feed?

They are overeating and vomiting just to continue eating because they aren't getting a properly balanced and nutritious diet...
I get the balanced diet my issue is they eat and eat and eat. I don't know what's the minimum they need in a store bought food or what's to much. And I feel like my need to care for them always has me bringing out food when it's empty the adults I have with the younger ones don't eat feed that agreesively but are more in a rush to get out the pen to eat the weeds and other greenery is this a behavioral thing?
