why are my eggs not hatching?

I actually have never hatched eggs before. my hens are about 6 months old.

If none hatch I'd suggest switching hens/roos to test if either is infertile. Perhaps the roos are not mating the hens enough/at all?

Some dimmed lights and Barry White usually get the quails in the mood...

So you only float tested the eggs and never candled them right? If so then they are likely infertile as mentioned above. I would give it another day or two then candle them and/or crack them open and see what's inside...

I have candled them multiple times, and a couple days ago was the last time I candled them. then I couldn't see through any of them.
