Fake eggs will help or get some golf balls. Chickens lay where others have laid. Keep watch on the chickens face. One of ours years ago had yellow on her face. I know where that came from. I also went to collect eggs and caught one in a box just eating. I should of stomped it but I didn't and ran out of the box.Our chickens aren't currently molting. I doubt that squirrels could be eating our eggs, but I will keep an eye out just in case. I have constantly checked for egg-eaters, but I haven't found any signs. Do you think it would be a good idea to put fake eggs in the nesting boxes to encourage them to lay?
