Why are my hens not laying??

Ok, I will see what I can do. Do you think that is the reason why they are not laying?

This has been going on for a while, even when we did have more hours of daylight.

I don't know about anyone else, but my numbers hardly ever add up. I almost never get the same number of eggs each day. Up until recently I had four Buffs. I pretty much would get three eggs a day and then sometimes four or even five. Chicken math never seems to add up. LOL!

Our chickens aren't currently molting. I doubt that squirrels could be eating our eggs, but I will keep an eye out just in case. I have constantly checked for egg-eaters, but I haven't found any signs. Do you think it would be a good idea to put fake eggs in the nesting boxes to encourage them to lay?

Fake eggs will help or get some golf balls. Chickens lay where others have laid. Keep watch on the chickens face. One of ours years ago had yellow on her face. I know where that came from. I also went to collect eggs and caught one in a box just eating. I should of stomped it but I didn't and ran out of the box.
