ok i have 2 2week old babies, the mother didn't sit with them the other night and one died, it's crop was empty when i checked in the morning, it had food in it before bed but not like the other baby, i've been checking the other baby a couple times a day to make sure it's being fed, last night the mom was on a perch right above the nest but not with the baby, i put it in with an older chick that is fully feathered so he could cuddle last night and he did fine, this happened to another pair that let the 2 week old babies died one cold night, that pair was in a breeding cage and everything, these were both first time parents, do you think this will change with the next clutch, these were the babies were the one just died
