Why are People So Paranoid?

I worked at a Coke bottling plant one summer, I got this really nasty bug from working there, It was in the 80's to 90's on the plant floor, fans going everywhere, and water spraying everywhere, so I would be warm and damp, then the only place to take breaks was the break room, which was kept at around 60 degrees... so I caught a bug from going from warm and wet to cold and wet back and forth every night (plus my system adjusting to the night shift). Anyway, the bottles come off of a pallet and go down a conveyer before being filled or capped, one night they put me up there where I was having to handle the bottles and stand over them while they went down the conveyer... I was coughing, blowing my nose, snot dripping... it was gross... and I was up there with the open containers... I looked out for those lot codes for a while when purchasing soda... I didn't want my bug back!
my mom lived next door to a coke a cola factory growing up for a while and the stories she tells about the rats that came from that place will keep you up at night! Said the whole neighborhood was infested with them

Another thing i have seen people paranoid about is eating animals that dont eat just plants. (More in the hunting community) and even others for some reason they think all the animals we eat are just feed plants. My uncle worked in a chicken barn (said it was awful there) but says you will never think of factory farmed raised chicken the same after you see what they eat. Same with pigs heard they eat rats and mice in the barns. But like everything just cook it well and done.
I have a co-worker who wants to take home scraps for her chickens. She will take old bread or sugary sweet stuff . . never mind that bread isn't really very good for birds. Or sugar. But Lord don't throw a chicken nugget in the scrap box. . that's just wrong!! :lau

Poor old sister is law left here with doodie on her shoulder. I should have told her but I didn't. That new Dominique pullet I got is a little bit over freindly and likes to jump on shoulders.Well she did it to sil with doodie feet. The way she was carrying on about feathers, doo piles, and my hair all things that don't concern her at all I just decided to not bring up the doodie. Probably wrong of me but the woman seriously gets on my last nerve.

I confess, I caused a lot of those blood stains on the asphalt. my career dictated the reason for it! But now I am a happy retired US Marshal raising chickens, and enjoying life
Whooo US marshal! I love very much to watch westerns, and this couple of words "US marshal" throw me exactly at noon to OK coral!
