Well firstly, importing is very expensive, secondly quarantine is not cheap, thirdly they are rare and not so common.
But they are very pretty birds, I wish I had some

Thanks so much. I didn't realize they were an imported bird and yes they are very beautiful. That is why I asked the question. I wish we could afford to but that breed. Thanks so much for the info.
