Hi I’m new and I was just wondering why my two female ducks aren’t laying. So I’ve read all the stuff on here about it and I’m sure that it is because not enough protein but I haven’t got a clue what it is.

Could someone please help ?

What do you feed your ducks and do you know their age?

Mixed corn layers pellets and fresh fruit and veg also 18-20 months
You mix corn with layer pellets?
Or you buy a mixed feed with corn in it?
What is the brand name of the feed you buy?

I buy them separate and then mix them together
I am going to say you should probably stop doing that and feed ONLY the layer feed.
Get rid of the corn.

I know nothing about du is but just wanted to say :welcomeThere’s so many helpful, knowledgeable folks here and I’m sure you’ll find this site a very useful resource.

@KikisGirls ... I feed my ducks finisher cumbles (9 w/o), and throw out some cracked corn in yard for them to snack on during the day. Is the corn bad for them? Should I stop doing that? Also... when should I switch them over to layer feed?
