why can't I sell eggs?

People are strange like that eh? My co-workers were taking eggs until they found out that the chickens only have one "exit" route - (came up in conversation one day - not sure why) I don't know where they think the eggs in the stores come from ... but apparently they think it's something different - go figure.
They think there is an "Egg Machine" out there that makes and manufactures eggs. Makes me so mad that some people are that ignorant to not know where eggs come from.

A friend that works at a zoo was explaining to a young child and his family,where this nice warm wet egg just came from, and the look on the parents face was that of disgust.

My kids fight to be the one to find the warmest egg! And they are the only kids in their class to live on a farm. Oh what these other kids are missing out on!​

It boggles my mind to think we have grown so far from reality..............
I have a friend who won't eat anything from my house because it most likely didn't come in a store bought plastic wrapper.
It might be wild game or fresh organic garden food, that a bug may have crawled on, duh I washed it so what, maybe buffalo or elk from the 2 farms near me.
I always laugh at her that she has eaten these things here before and didn't even know it but she swears she hasn't it would make her sick...........LOLOLOLOL x10
People like her are more than just ignorant I think it's down right disturbing to think there are so many out there that think and live this way. If and when the rest of society falls apart where will these people find food? the grocery stores will be looted first thing, after that then what starve, because your stupid?? I don't get it. and I don't get how this happened either, what happened to peoples common sense? Kim

I have 3 neighbors bought eggs 2 have not come back for more and one said he has to watch his "cholesterol" and I know he was just being nice. I'm making up some nice signs to put up and see what happens. Even the guy who is a farmer and we get corn from to make our chicken feed said his wife likes the store eggs he like ours. People are funny.

I was nervous to eat my first "real" egg from one of my chickens. So I cooked it up, and took a tiny bite, and then I realized how delicious it was. I like the idea someone wrote about giving away some eggs as sort of a trial to people, then telling them what you charge per dozen.

I sell mine at work, but people keep forgetting to take them out of the refrigerator in the break room!

I took in 3 dozen this morning, and saw someone left 2 dozen in the refrigerator from last Friday. So now there's 5 dozen eggs in there! I think I'm going to start "marketing" my eggs to other wards in the hospital, since my hens lay between 8-12 eggs a day. My best friend is my only competition there - and her eggs are organic! Mine aren't, but I say "My eggs aren't organic, but I feed my hens a high quality feed." It seems to work pretty good for me so far.
