Why did the chicken cross the road?

Hi! i have some very naughty chicks. last summer, i let them roam my backyard. they somehow found there way into our front yard and crossed the road! we found them taking a dustbath in our neighbors yard! Bware: chickies can b monsters.

Our chickens have done the same thing! We found them digging around in our across the street neighbors!

To show the opossum and racoon it could be done. Seriously though I don't know why. When we had chickens some years backs six acres and they still go across the road. The only thing I could think of was that the rotting blow downs offered a buffet and variety of bugs. Not a big deal as rush hour consists of a school bus and three cars, nearest neighbor quarter mile away, also a chicken owner
