Why did the rooster cross the road?

I have no idea but apparently He wanted to get the hell out of our place. lol
He left the flock ran up the drive way, slipped under our front gate and ran across the road to our neighbors house. Thankfully we caught him and locked him while we put some wire at the bottom of the gate. I hope he's not so determined to leave that he tries to fly over once he can't go under. I'm so surprised that he just left.

I know right! we have a nice place five acres for them to roam and a lovely flock of ladies for him and he decided he was getting the hell out of dodge. we got him caught and locked back up the other one we left out with the flock because he seemed content to stay with the ladies. Well two hours later he decided to do the same thing! That one disappeared down the road and into the woods. I guess maybe Icelandic's just don't like us.

I dunno if that rooster is coming back its just so weird. Our hens don't try to leave and never have. I just assumed the roosters would want to stay with the Hens. lol well I guess at least I didn't pay for them and wasn't attached.
