Today is day.22 of incubation for me and I had 20 eggs in it I had two hatch one is nearly out and and on has a hole on it so he should hatch soon there is no other signs of pipping and I candled a few eggs and the air sack was huge so I presume they are dead although they were all ok at day 18 why is that and why is there no pipping

Usually if the air sacs are too big it could be that your humidity was too low and the eggs lost too much moisture, or the eggs were a bit old when you said them. What was your humidity during the first 18 days and lockdown and how old were the eggs?

I just followed the instructions on my incubator which was to keep one trough topped up, they were 5 days old

Hi,
Don't give up.. can still hatch up to day 25........
Next hatch purchase a hygrometer....not expensive. Then you will know what your humidity is.
And read some of the information on hatching available here on BYC.
I threw the instructions from my incubator out.....................was not reliable.
Good luck, hope you have more hatch..................
