Very interesting. I have both a Silver and a Gold Laced Wyandotte bantam and they both are crowing, or at least trying to learn to crow. I have no rooster, just hens that cluck and other younger chicks that cluck, so they are not immitating any sound that they've heard. I can't explain it, but I like it. I was hoping one of them would turn out to be a rooster just for the crowing.
