why do chicks peep at wrong side of the egg

Hi just want to know if there is any reason thay peep on the small side of the egg?...some thing im doing or just happens

just happens, I had one hatch out the side, what is bad is it is veinier in those areas.

I had 6 not hatch or peep when I cracked them open thay where all at the wrong side it looked like thay tried to peck the egg but didnt get through

I think when chicks are in the egg shell on days 1-17, they are turned the "wrong" way. At lockdown, the chicks start to turn towards the air cell. Chicks that don't turn are usually either too big for the shell of are hatched to early.

Thay where not any more as its 4 days past I wanted to see what happened so I opened them up
