Why do Cornish crosses seem to have more health problems than regular cornish chickens?

Just curious, as I've read a lot about cornish X's having a lot of issues, but I haven't heard the same for regular cornish chickens.

The Cornish breed is a much slower growing, slower maturing chicken.

The Cornish X is specifically bred for an extremely fast rate of growth.
