Cayuga. All my others are very soft and beautiful this one looks like a cross to me, and very rough and gross lookingWhat type of duck?
She’s a year old and no I haven’t checked but I willHow old?
Have you checked her oil gland see if there is any debris. If so, take a warm cloth and hold it there. Do this a few times to unclog. Then remove as much bathing water as you can only leaving water for drinking for about a week or so. I would apply the warm cloth for at least 3 days. This should help if wet feather.
She also might be getting ready to molt.
I tried to look a while ago but she is a skittish little gal, and it was difficult to do by myself so I have to get my husband to help me later. I also couldn’t find the oil gland at allHow old?

About where this duck's bill is. It can be yellow if you see oil, but most likely it is a flesh colored bump.
