Somewhere Over the Rainbow
So to give yall some back story, my broody her died and I am now caring for her 3-4 week old chicks. They are completely spoiled! They get a whole outdoor room to roam. They have food and water at all times. They have a fan and plenty of places to roost. They spend half the day outside with shade, food and water. Places to dust bathe and grass and bugs.

They are almost always crying when I go outside and they see me. They run up to me frantically and try to climb into my lap. Are they just spoiled or am I missing something?

Really? They have always been scared of me! They started doing that a few days ago. I just assumed they wanted something. Does that mean I could take them outside and they would stay near me or not?
They’d probably stay near you if you went outside with them. Give them time though, and they’ll get more independent.
