Why do you have the birds you have?

I have Ameraucanas because I love bearded birds. I love the look that they have. I also like how smart they are. They are soo curious and smart its too funny. They also like to talk to eachother alot and I find it fun to watch them do it. The blue eggs are just an added bonus for me with this breed, my absolute favorite breed!

I originally got RR because that's what we had as kids on the farm and I wanted brown REAL eggs, not the junk from the store. I wanted the deep colored yolks I remember from true free ranging.

Then the banties cause I love them. Cochin Banties because I love to watch them and they are so sweet. Standard Cochins caise I'm in love with the breed. I like big chickens so then I got Delewares and New Jerseys, finally the Orps just because I like them.

I was given Wydonettes. Won't have them again. The ones I have are loud and obnoxious. Looking forward to those meals, those girls are heavy!
