I just sort of ended up with one. I hatched the eggs and took my chances ended up with Negan. He's wonderful, good watcher, protects the chicks, keeps me safe from box turtles, kills evil holiday decorations. This year I hatched the eggs and took my chances again...more roosters, three more all pretty much identical. Things are going to be VERY interesting around here. Going in order. Negan, Early, Cookie and little baby Ray.

I have 7 separate chicken pens so I have 7 roosters, a Braham, 2 New Hampshire, 3 Rhode Island Reds and a Leg Horn. I wanted to produce some Black Star's so I put the New Hampshire rooster with my barred rocks. I got 9 Black Star chicks between my 2 last incubations.
