Why does He do this

I have a cockeral who just started crowing.But,the only place he crows is inside the house.Generally when it's just me and him in the room.He is loud and he sounds like a screaming person.

Is he trying to convince me our house his his?Or is this him just talking to me?

He's reacting to unfamiliar surroundings, a lot like an insecure human would by talking or laughing excessively. It's his way of telling himself, and you, he's strong and in control.
