Why does my chick have green and pink feet?

I just got my chicks in from a hatchery this morning and noticed that one has different markings and is a little smaller than the others. Then I noticed her feet. They are greenish with pink on the toe area. Is this normal? They are supposed to be Silver Laced Wyandottes. This is my first experience with chicks, so of course I'm a little nervous!

I have a chick like that too. But I know it's an easter egger chick. It's the only one that hatched out white, all others are black or blue. The green legs are a trait of ee and/or ameraucanas, and on the white chick the green on the legs is easier to see early on.
The pink & green is rather pretty, don't you think?

Both of my SLW girls had grayish legs as chicks. Now they're yellow with flecks of that same gray. Pink and green legs do sound pretty!

Yes, it is kinda pretty! But not what I expected!

Here's a few pictures of her. Hope you can see okay, the red light throws things off a little.

Unless the color's really off from the lamp, I don't think that's an SLW. SLW chicks should be gray and black, and that one looks like it has some brown and sand going on, best as I can tell in the red light.

Ok, I got a little braver and took a picture or two away from the red lamp. Yikes! Here she is...
On her back and top of head she has a very defined leopard like pattern.

Actually, my SLW's looked just like that as chicks. They were "hatchery choice" chicks, so we didn't know what exactly they were for quite a while. They look nothing like you think they would as chicks.

As for the toes, it is probably just a pigment issue. She may grow out of it.

I am a super newbie to chicks, but that looks like our Easter Eggers. Cute!

The heads on ours are a little bit rounder though......

My 5 SLW did not look like this as chicks...it does look somewhat like my chipmunk EE, face is a lil different. Ladyhawk is now a beautiful girl...gray beard and rump, gold neck with black markings, dark wigs and back that glisten a teal color when sun hits it.

Is it possible that they are GLW's? I have raised both, and while yours dont' really look like either, they do look a bit more like GLWs. I am always amazed, though, at howdifferent a fully grown hen can look from her baby days. It looks like she has a rose comb. When I ordered my Ws from the hatchery half had rose combs and half had straight combs (which isn't "standard"). It was funny to see as they developed, two identical birds with completely different combs.

I wouldn't sweat it. I am sure that you are going to get a beautiful bird out of it.
