Why does my chicks bite?

I have one particularly flighty chick, however she does not mind eating out of my hand. In fact, she loves it so much that she pinches my skin between her sharp beak and pulls hard even after all the food is gone. Will she grow out of this?

Probably get worse unless you make her stop the behavior.

Mine will do it depending the treat. When feeding mealworms, the worms are fairly big and easy to peck at, and they hardly grab my skin... but when i feed them millet, it feels like they want their millet along with a piece of my palm!
