Ok, further investigation shows that although there were accusations of high lead levels in the food, that it was never proved . no recall was taken for lead in Blue Buffalo.

ok so i looked on the wedsite that 3riverschick gave me and i look at all of the comments and there was a pug that had to be put downim going to change my dog food thanks so much for your help does anyone of any ideas on what dog food to get thanks so much for all of yalls help

Redford Chicken and Brown Rice.
Pet Supplies Plus carries it.
That one person commenting on the thread at consumer affairs mentioned they were feeding Purina sensitive stomach when they switched from Blue.
I don't know anything about the feed but they said it worked good.
Maybe troll some of the German Shepherd lists online and see what the Breeders are feeding their German Shepherds or maybe the lab lists too.

Since you have to take your dog in to the vet about the eye, bring a sample of each dogs poop to be checked. I would get them off all food for a few days, and feed them boiled chicken and rice instead, then start on a new food. Canned pumpkin is good too. It can help firm things up. I feed 4Health grain free from TSC. I have researched the food and it is as good as the higher priced brands.
