Why does my Silkie roo have a RED rose comb

My young silkie roo (not the one in my profile) has a bright red rose comb! Is this normal? His brothers had normal small black comb.

There exist four different types of Silkies:

The Siamese Silkie has white skin and red comb and wattles whereas the other kind originated in china shows the well known black skin colour.

They exist in bantam or normal size.

Yea its weird I'm stumped because all of his brothers and sisters had normal wattles and combs but he was just 'different'

You can see different comb types pop up randomly. My 20+ generation silkie cockerel has a single comb, though very dark mulberry colored. Assume it is throw back to a distant ancestor.
