At first I thought it was just the normal, big-footed, clumsy pekin duckling stage, but as she started getting older, I noticed that Nikki had ALOT of trouble walking, or getting up, she's 8 weeks old now, and it's gotten worse.

I got a few videos of her walking from all different angles,

it's always looked to me like her legs are just too far aprt.

the last one shows how...bad?, she is at walking, she'd been left behind when everyone else decided to visit the big ducks, she spent a good 5 minutes just TRYING to get up

I couldn't get the video to upload but I'm wondering if this is spraddle leg. Try a search on it. Usuallly you hear about it with younger ducks, but I don't know what happens if it doesn't get taken care of when they are little, probably you can still treat it. Hope she gets better.

she's not the friendliest of the bunch, I didn't hatch them though, I sold two dozen eggs to a coue teachers around easter time, when they hatched, the teachered wanted to keep the ducklings for a week, (17 1 week old ducklings, in a classroom...as you can imagine she started complaining about the stink

so I took back three, and the rest went to a petting zoo, awsomely two of the three are girls, but since EVERYONE who shows interest in the two I'm trying to find new homes for backs out, it looks like everyone will be staying.

I'm just worried about her once I start free-ranging + her being bred and all that, how she'll cope, or if I need to find her a special needs home.
