Why does time go by so slowly? Eggs are arriving!

But that one is more fun somehow, candling, etc. I really enjoyed hatching last year. I just can't deal with the rooster issue so I ordered pullet chicks instead. (To be delivered in April, just so you know!!)

I'm on Day 3 of my hatch, so countdowns are the order of the day! Jared, my blue ladies are laying very well and I'm optimistic that they will keep going now that we are expecting a week of spring-like temps and sunshine.

Good job with ordering them in April!

The only reason I am ordering eggs in March is because I was trying to err on the side of caution with the cold weather. With around $200 invested in them, I am trying to be really careful.

Try being pregnant for 40 weeks and then you'll know what it's like to wait and wait and wait and wait and wait. Not to mention be uncomfortable.
