We have a 15 week old BO cockerel who found his voice last Sunday. We heard him attempting to crow on the way to church in the a.m. I have heard him several times, and I gotta say, he's improving!
but whenever one of us comes within sight of him, he stops. earlier this evening, he stopped in mid crow when my 5 year old came around the back of the house.
Is this because he doesn't want me to take a video of him and put it on YouTube?
My DH seems to think it has something to do with dominance, as he runs away from all of us, even my 4 year old dd. Today, she was standing in the doorway of the coop. he was outside and his girls were inside. he stood outside and clucked at his girls rather pitifully until my daughter moved out of the doorway, and then he ran past her really fast.
Is this because he doesn't want me to take a video of him and put it on YouTube?
