Update on insomniac chicks: Because the light I used was shining into the only night time screened window, of course it attracted bugs. I now believe they watched bugs all night. Like I watch TV. Also, I had a floor fan blowing through window, but pointed just to one side, so other side of window recieved no moving air. We added a second fan so air was blowing equally, which illiminated all the jockeying for preferred cooler spots. Can't blame them. Its 100 here more than its not.
I also took your advise, all of you, and got rid of outside light shining in, and added very low wattage bulb, facing the wall so its very dim in the coop.
Bonus! As well as sleeping all night, they are also roosting on baby perches, so we will be raising perches up some.
Thank you for every one's help. Many times if I dont get the exact answer, you guys make me think to find out what is the problem!
