Thank you all so much for the info. Thank goodness I was already planning on getting more RIR hens or I'd be pretty sad. I guess Donna Pinciotti will just have to be an egger for the fridge. But I still love her and she will continue to have a happy life in my flock. I had a friend come over today who also has RIR hens and she was blown away by how big, heavy and thick shelled Donna's eggs are. They're too big for even a jumbo carton. But at least they'll make good eating. Thank you all again
