Why don't hatcheries offer black copper marans?

Too expensive I guess! If they do get ahold of them then their chick prices would be way over five dollars straight run and you never know if you would get a pullet of the right egg color. If I were you, I'd stick with reputable breeders than the hatchery to avoid disappointment with the type and egg shell colors.
