Why has her comb folded over?

I also like it when a large comb flops over, "giving them character" as mentioned above.

It's perfectly normal for many breeds. Here's my Rhoda in her beauty shot, looking oh! so chic!

Thank you all so much for the replies! I was hoping the comb was okay, just worring for nothing. Since I've got Gurty I wondered what breed as I was sure she wasn't a Columbian Wyanotte.

I got her from a very nice girl in Wells, Maine. She told me they all came from McMurray's. I think it was one of those "brown egg layers" combination of breeds sold as one-day chicks. When she sold them she said they were at POL. Well, they didn't lay until around two months after they came home with me. She sincerely thought Gurty was a Columbian Wyandotte.
