Why has our Golden Comet stopped laying?

We have 4 hens: 1 Golden Comet, 1 Australorpe, 2 Speckled Sussex....all approx 1 year old.

The GC was first to lay but stopped laying about a month-6 weeks ago. The other three are still laying. Anyone got thoughts on what is going on? How do you tell when a hen molts? Thanks.

My birds are all over the map on this...

My Leghorn stopped for over 2-months but hardly lost feathers, then came back at a slow laying rate. The Production Red was molting (missing patches) for the last 6 months but continued laying until last week. The Black Australorp with full feather and less than a year old, stopped laying a month ago for no apparent reason.

I can only surmise that chickens are not machines, so they do not follow a strict schedule.
