My silver laced wyandotte hasnt crowed yet and he is 13 weeks old now. He is now my only rooster and ive yet to hear a peep out of him.

Yes, they can take a lot longer than 19 weeks. Also, if there are other roos and he is not dominant, he may not.

Mine didn't crow until later than that. Don't rush him, you may regret it.

Trust me... be grateful he has been quiet so far. After the first few "cute" crows, it gets old fast.

Its good to know he is normal. He is the only Rooster with 19 pullets his age. Hopefully he will have something to crow about soon. At what age do they start breeding? And how soon can a hen raise chicks?

Most hens don't begin to lay till they are around 22 weeks old. SLW's will usually be a bit later, around 25 - 30 weeks. The rooster should begin crowing before the hens lay.
