why have hens quit laying eggs?

i have 4 hens that are rhode island reds and are about 4 years old and have always layed an egg about every other day.1 still lays regular but why have the other 3 stopped laying any eggs? its been about 3 months since they have layed any.anyone know why they have stopped? nothing has really changed with their environment or anything,thanks

Four years old they are likely to take long breaks, if not stop completely.
