I'm Ringtailginny, I have chickens, ducks, cats, a dog, a hubby and kids. Looking to expand my flock (my hubs just cringed and doesn't know why) as I work towards a self sufficient farm. I have 15 chickens (but can't eat chicken eggs...lol, the rest of the fam can) and 6 ducks (i can totally eat those eggs). I'm looking to add a couple of geese as hawk deterrent and finally add in a rooster to see if I can get some broody ladies going (the cayuga male duck that I have needs to keep to his own species. I don't think the hens appreciate his advances). I'm in Georgia and looking for local folks with extra babies to sell, rather than a hatchery with a ridiculous shipping fee.

lol. Circus indeed. I have a couple Khaki Campbell/Rouen mixes as the females and then the abominations of their babies (HUGE and look like their daddy). This was my first foray into ducks. I like the cayugas but I'd like to add in some welsh harlequins and some runner ducks. I know my older kid wants to have a white duck.... le sigh.
