When we had an inside cat, the litterbox was far far from the kitchen. Usually we kept it in the spare bathroom.

The prego wife was EATING at the table, while a cat was doing its business.

ARGH!!!!

I am pregnant, and when I have to clean the litterbox cause DH is traveling on business and there's noone else to do it, I wear latex gloves and a face mask. And scub hands afterwards.

Seriously. Toxoplasmosis. Most pregnant women are informed about this - you can get it from cats litter, especially if the cats are allowed to go outside.​

That has to be the most discusting thing I ever heard. I have two cats and they live outside and love it. If NOTHING else she should think about the unborn child. What da heck is the litterbox doing on an eating table? Are they trying to keep the dogs out of it? Poor way to rectify that. That makes me feel sorry for the baby now and when it gets older.
