Why I LOVE My Vet

Wow, that *is* tiny. So you were serious when you called it a 'tail gate c-section'. I would never have thought she could do that with a goat!

Yeah. Most people don't realize that the dwarf nigerians are seriously tiny little things. Babies are usually 5 - 7 inches tall. Like big puppies.

WOW...Great Vet! You are very blessed to have her. I hope all goes well with you little mama. I would be terrified too! I love her chocolate coloring…it’s one of my favorite colorings on animals.

Can you tell me what Be-So is and what it's for? I live in East Texas and I know we are defficient in Selenium. I do have out loose minierals, but I have not heard of this other treatment.

I, also, am blessed with a wonderful vet. He does make house calls and is glad to talk on the phone and answer any questions. My daughters are involved in the Vet Medicine Project through 4-H. They work hand in hand with Dr. Eberheart. I am delighted that they will know no other way than the best way. Dr. Eberheart is known in our area for "pioneering" treatments for goats. When he meets something he hasn't seen, he is willing to get his Vet Tech who manages a goat ranch to come talk to me. Wow, humble and brilliant in the same package!

Thanks for all your posts, Miss Prissy, I have learned a lot from you!

Holly, BO-Se is an injectable form of selenium, vit. E that you get from the vet. Look in the first post of this thread and click the link there to read about it.
