Why is her face so red?!

Okay my chicken is only 6 weeks old and her face is super red. She doesn’t have the black chest that is common in the breed for a rooster so I’m super confused!

I’m not sure she really is 6 weeks. Looks more 10 weeks with that tiny comb if she’s a girl.

she’s six weeks for sure. We got her at 1 day old

She is definitely a girl... male Faverolles don’t develop that color.
Some develop combs faster than others.

It was only 84 yesterday no humidity

she’s six weeks for sure. We got her at 1 day old

I edited my post. It could be yours is a week older or it’s a hen or it’s normal for the breed.

If she's eating and drinking and behaving normally I wouldn't worry. She's maturing. Their faces will be more red with higher temperatures.

Does she itch at her face at all? Have you checked for mites?
