WHY IS IT? thread

Why is it, that the phone will go a couple hours without ringing- and as soon as you start washing dishes (both hands wet) the phones rings within 2 minutes.

Why is it, that a bug in the car can not fly out threw an open 2 foot square window! But a bug can fly DIRECTLY into your ear when you are walking across the yard.

Why is it, that sometimes it is hard to get a bird into a crate with the door all the way open- yet that same bird gets out if the door is open an inch.

Why is it, that if you stay in the kitchen and keep an eye on something cooking it takes forever, but if you turn away for a second, it burns quickly.

Anybody have anymore??

Why is it that the kids cant hear you yelling for them, but they can hear the vibration of your phone, in your pocket, 3 rooms away?

Why do kids know it's wrong........ do it anyways........ then look shocked when they are told it was wrong to do?

Why, when you are expecting a phone call that is really important, does everyone call you just to chit chat...... not just tying up one line... but both most times?

Why is it that my kids could care less to talk to me, unless I'm talking on the phone? or...... Why do they get along just fine and as soon as the phone rings they start fighting?

Why is it that everyone can just expect you to KNOW when they need help with something (and get mad and gripe about you not coming when they haven't said anything), but don't ever know when YOU need help? (my dad is FAMOUS for this!!)

why is it that if I am making deviled eggs the eggs refuse to peel nicely but if I am making egg salad they are perfect??!!
