Why is just one chick hatching each day?

I have two broodies that are sitting on eggs. Both hens had an egg hatch on Sat, then each had one hatch on Sun, and Monday. They still are sitting on several eggs. Today I have not checked to see how many have now hatched, but I could see unhatched eggs. Is this normal or should they have all hatched/

When were the eggs layed? Were they all layed on the same day? Are the eggs all from the same hen?

For me that would be normal because my broodys could have layed an egg 1 day (Monday) and another other egg the 2nd day (Tuesday). So I count 21 days from the days that the eggs are actually layed.

I also sneak other eggs under my broodys from other chickens that may have layed eggs on different days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Again...........I count 21 days from the days that the eggs are actually layed.

I could have hatchings on 4 different days.
