She's puffed up because she's broody. Give her a quiet place/box and some eggs to set on and she'll be a happy hen!!! They get all puffy and grouchy when they go broody!

That's a broody hen. Give her some eggies

make sure you mark them because all of her sisters will be laying in her nest and you don't want half incubated chicks when hers hatch. ..so mark hers and remove news eggs each day.

You will need to move her out of the nestbox and into her own quarters. Letting other hens lay in her box is a recipe for busted eggs and a sticky mess. There are lots of threads already about moving broodies.

yup, what they said - - given your info in post #5 about her sitting on a nest, she does sound broody. the great thing about that if true would be that she isn't sick

boost her nutrition as much as possible as that will be good no matter what.
