Why is my duck screaming at me?

It sounds like she still thinks she's a mama. She attacks you like that because she wants to protect her babies, but her babies arent...well, babies anymore, so she cries and cries to find them. That's just my theory anyway. :/

My Black Swedish duck is 1 month old today and she screams so loud Im afraid the neighbors will complain. I bought her along with a African Goose and the duck goes everywhere with this goose. So when I pick them up to take back into my house the duck screams (sounds like a pig) I was hoping that this would go away once she got older but reading you story it probably will not.

Can the duckling see. The goose when your bringing them back to the house. Sounds like she is very imprinted on the goose. Being they are flock animals they are very dependent on their flock
