Why is my duckling doing this?

We just recently noticed our duckling is doing this. Does anybody know why? None of our other ducklings ever did this excessively. This duckling is actually pretty lucky to be with us. My girlfriend works overnight at Lowe’s and when the employees started coming in at 5 o’clock in the morning, this little guy was found in the vestibule all alone. He was only a couple days old we aren’t sure how he got there, but he’s been staying with us ever since we don’t know if it is a boy or a girl. But we’ve never had any of our other ducklings do this before.

I’ve seen my Ducks do that. What are you feeding her? Have you had ducklings before? Do you know how to care for them?
Yes I have had duckling before as I stated in my initial post. We have never had a duckling do this constantly. Duckling starter feed

Thank you for rescuing the little fluffy. My very first duckling was found on its own in a rainstorm in a parking lot soon after hatching. Now, four and a half years on, he's a huge 15lb muscovy drake that follows me around the back garden and bites me demanding attention [ legacy behavior as I didn't find suitable duckie friends for him until he was 6 weeks old].

Is there a sound accompanying the bill movements? I can't hear a sound-track on the video.

I have seen other ducklings making those bill movements. I don't know for how long and when it might be deemed excessive. Is your duckling too hot? I always assume my ducklings were hot in Florida summer weather when they do it.

Is your duckling eating drinking pooping and active? If yes, I would not fret about the bill movements. You might try offering frozen peas and see if ice-cold water and frozen peas make a difference, if only temporarily.
