Why is my hen doing this?

My hen, she just sits at my quails coop all day, but if i put her in, she starts to bully them.
What do i do?

Don’t let her in. Big birds are not nice to little birds. It’s all about resources; your quail is easy to bully and take the food bc of the size difference.

No, we have 2 babies. She hav=s been solitary for a month now, and seems to enjoy it. She was bullied by our old roosters, so we got rid of them. The baby chickens and her get along great though.

I would not let her in the quail pen.
There isn't much you can do about her waiting outside it.

She might just like watching them move around. My dogs like watching the chickens, and the chickens like watching some of them in return, but doesn't mean it's a good idea for them to mix.
