why is my peacock yelling????

me and my grandmother and sister where sitting out on our porch waiting for the meteors a couple minutes ago and just out of the blue my peacock just started yelling and yelling....

were we upseting him being outside at that time of night or was he saying this is my tree( he roosts in a certain tree) or was he just yelling to be yelling???

well, breading season is basically over, so his call was most likely a response to something he heard... perhaps your talking and laughing.
