Why is my rooster not crowing?

My leghorn rooster just wont crow. He is 3 months old at the moment. Does this have anything to with it? Is it because of the breed he is making it longer for him to crow? My other roosters crowed and are the same age. but none of them were leghorns so is he just not crowing because his breed takes longer?

Ok, thanks. And for the crowing i want him to be quiet or else i would have to get rid of him

I think he just might be a quiet boy. I have 2 white leghorn cockerels that will be 10 weeks tomorrow and they've been crowing since before 4 weeks of age.

I'd say it's almost impossible for anyone to be precise. If it's a mix, then it's just educated guesses to be honest.

That is definitely something no one generally is too upset about. He is probably just quiet.

Wish I had him! I am waiting for my quiet rooster. I have one out there right now that is almost 3 months old...no crowing yet either! Whoot! Now watch............
