I have recently noticed my rooster had purple in his comb, which I know means lack of oxygen. He was started on Tylan for a total of 8 days and everyone else was locked up with medicated water. He improved, but the past two mornings I have noticed it there again and in the afternoon it is gone. This morning I noticed it slightly in two of my hens combs as well, to only have it clear up as the day progresses. I am at a loss as to why this is happening. This is the same coop they have been in for a year now with none of this previously.

Can someone please give me ideas as to what is going on to be causing this?

Maybe a bad heart? I saw a little bantam roo with a comb that would turn purple sometimes. She told me his heart wasn't very good. That's all I can add here.
