My rooster is way past 5 years old...it's super hot here in Arkansas. I'm taking fresh water out every morning, spreading water on the dirt, now taking ice cubes out for their water and where they lay. Since yesterday, my rooster has been extremely lethargic, tripping, leaning over, and now his spurs are turning black...what's the matter? What can I do? I have also added electrolytes to their drinking water. Ike is still drinking water and I've noticed his poop is very watery. :((

It is probably worms because the same happened to rooster when his poop went watery. Just a little Organic apple cider vinegar in the water will do.

I know it's an old thread but I am curious what happened to your rooster. Mine is acting fine but has had a red bottom that I've been treating and this morning his spurs are black.
